Who is a silent talker?
I might not talk.
All-day long quiet in my room.
Rarely opening the door.
Don’t think l cannot talk.
Every time I enjoy the silence.
Reflective thoughts overshadow my mind.
My thinking brain works double.
No one can guess why l am silent.
Yes, l want to talk.
Yet, l have no one around me.
I put my words down in paper.
If you like, come let us talk.
Though some misunderstand my silence.
A few understand l am thinking.
I love to share my many reasons.
But time and audience are absent, thus l am silent.
Who said we must talk?
Sometimes, we must shut up.
Wiseman Solomon said there is talking time.
He adds, we must respect the time to be silent.
You know peace only when you know when to talk.
Some say being silent is a way to prevent trouble.
Choosing not ot speak is proof of prudence.
People mistake fools for wise people if they know how to maintain their silence.
