After a long, lazy evening relaxing at Palm Beach, hunger struck, and I needed food—fast. Enter Restaurant Chunga, conveniently located right across the road from the former Palm Beach Hotel. With its inviting outdoor hidden garden and a cozy, air-conditioned interior, the place had the perfect vibe for unwinding and enjoying a meal. I chose a seat near the door, where the cool air met the evening breeze, and immediately ordered a margarita pizza, hoping to silence my rumbling stomach.

In just 10 or 15 minutes, my large pizza arrived, steaming hot and ready to devour. The first bite, however, was… let’s say, unexpected. A flavor I’d never encountered before stopped me in my tracks. I won’t lie—it wasn’t love at first bite. Granted, I’ve never been to Italy, so I can’t judge authenticity, but this margarita pizza and I didn’t exactly hit it off. Still, I couldn’t write off Restaurant Chunga entirely. After all, one dish isn’t the whole story, and someone else might love what I didn’t.
