force

 I couldn’t force it

In many ways, l tried to force it.

I thought talking to him regularly would be fine.

But l found out he didn’t like my voice.

He hated me so badly, l wondered why.

Every time l did something good, l thought it could force it.

But my actions were quickly mistaken for evil.

Even when l explained how truthful l meant.

His hatred seems to grow deeper like roots.

I don’t think l can ever please him.

As ages pass, l notice he is not interested in anything l do.

I never get applause from him.

I doubt if this hatred will ever end.

People say time can take the pain away if we force it to go.

Why is mine always scratched and refreshed every time l try to talk?

Does it even matter to say l bear his DNA?

If nothing is alike in us?

I rather stick to my heavenly Father.

He knows my name and hears all my cries.

Every time l call upon him, he is available.

I choose to depend on him because he will never leave me.
