Adverb of time

An adverb of time describes when something occurs.

Adverb of time, + subject + verb

subject + verb + adverb of time + adjective

subject + verb + adverb of time

Adverbs can be used with any tense. That is both past, future, and present.

Examples

Recently, I bought a new car.

Historically, people traveled by sea.

This is my second application. I previously applied last month.

We haven’t cooked the food yet.

Did you already submit the proposal? 

Despite the flood, people still live in that city.

Instantly,we began the surgery because she was critically sick.

If you finish your homework early, then you can play

After waiting for 10 days, she eventually called me.

I constantly visit the refugee camps around my city to volunteer my time.

We seldom go to the beach because it is mostly crowded.

I occasionally attend concerts because they are very noisy.
